Minimal Light Beige Wetroom with Dark Ash Vanity Unit
Minimal Shower Room in a Period Country House
Design Brief
A tranquil level access modern minimal wetroom with a luxury dark ash vanity unit. The client wanted a minimal, easy-to-use, contemporary-styled level-access wetroom for quick showers to start the day.
Floor and Wall Tiles
The wall and floor tiles are Royal Mosa Mid Warm Grey (262V) from the Core Collection Terra in a large format 90 x 90 cm square shape. The tile pattern is edge-to-edge to instil a spacious feel to the room. The moulded shower tray underneath the tiles is Jackoboard extruded polystyrene foam.
Bathroom Furniture
The double-basin vanity top is made from a composite stone material (Monolith) by Casabath, who also made the ribbed textured XL Dark Ash Vanity Unit with pressure-opening drawers. The LED-illuminated Reflex mirror cabinet recessed into the partition wall is also by Casabath.
Brassware
The brassware is from the minimalist ABOUTWATER range by Fantini. The wall-mounted mixer taps over the basins, the thermostatic shower mixer with hand shower and round headset and the bidet mixer tap are all in finely polished chrome.
Sanitaryware
The white sanitaryware is from the Duravit ME by Starck Collection.
Design Details
The polished chrome towel radiator is from the SMART range by Tubes Radiatori.
The room has Warmup electric underfloor heating controlled by a wall-mounted timer or a remote phone App.
The fixed Velux roof light floods daylight into the room during the day.
Lastly, the free-standing toilet brush in polished chrome is by Dornbracht.
